Kendall Nicole Jenner (Los Angeles, 3 novembre 1995) è un personaggio televisivo e modella statunitense. È conosciuta grazie al reality show in onda su E! Al passo con i Kardashian che documenta la vita della famiglia Kardashian/Jenner. La giovane modella è la sorella maggiore di Kylie Kristen Jenner (Los Angeles, 10 agosto 1997).
Carriera
Kendall ha lavorato per la linea di vestiti Sherri Hill. È apparsa sulla rivista People "Beautiful People" (Persone Belle) con sua sorella Kylie. Inoltre Kendall ha anche sfilato in passerella. È andata a New York, per fare esperienza come modella, e successivamente durante la Mercedes-Benz Settimana della Moda per la Primavera/Estate 2012 collezione di Sherri Hill. Kendall è apparsa due volte in copertina, prima nel giugno 2011 per American Cheerleader; e successivamente nella rivista Teen Prom Magazin.
Durante la settimana della moda di Parigi (2014), ha sfilato per Givenchy e Chanel. Ha anche sfilato a Londra per Marc Jacobs.
Vita privata
Kendall, figlia del campione olimpico Bruce Jenner e di Kris Jenner, è di origini americane da parte di padre, ed olandesi e scozzesi da parte di madre. Oltre alla sorella minore, Kendall ha molti fratellastri e sorellastre. Il padre ha altri quattro figli da due precedenti matrimoni: Burton William "Burt" Jenner, Cassandra Lynn "Casey" Jenner, Brandon Jenner e Brody Jenner. Anche la madre ha altri quattro figli, avuti con l'avvocato difensore, deceduto nel 2003, Robert Kardashian; la primogenita è Kourtney Kardashian, successivamente sono nate Kim Kardashian e Khloé Kardashian ed infine Rob Kardashian. Anche loro quattro fanno parte del programma Al passo con i Kardashian, al contrario dei figli di Bruce. Kendall è diventata zia il 14 dicembre 2009, con la nascita di Mason Dash Disick, figlio di Kourtney e del fidanzato Scott Disick. Dopo quasi tre anni, nel luglio 2012, è diventata una seconda volta zia con la nascita di Penelope Scotland Disick, secondogenita di Kourtney e Scott. Nel giugno 2013 è diventata per la terza volta zia con la nascita di North, primogenita di Kim e Kanye West.

An unfortunate report in the new issue of InTouch Weekly (via The Daily Mail) alleges that Kendall Jenner was bullied by some of her fellow catwalking waifs during New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Despite Kendall's many proclamations that she hasn't received special treatment — she says she's even had to work harder to overcome "her name" — an apparent fashion week insider told InTouch that other models "didn't think it was fair that she was there."
This wouldn't be the first time a new and suddenly popular face has endured some hazing — the industry is rife with rumors, horror stories even, of intimidation, malicious pranks, and outright bullying. (In the modeling world, you can be flavor of fashion week one season and barely booked the next; models concerned about their standing in the business have often been known to take it out on the new girls seen as challengers for the best jobs.) InTouch says Kendall had a bad time in particular, as an obvious foil for this frustration — she reportedly dealt with all sorts of backstage bitchiness, and some models maybe even put their cigarettes out in her drinks.
It's a sad, sad story, if true. But there'll always be an "if" about it, because for Kendall to confirm the news and speak out, she'd be accepting an even worse reputation among her peers. In many ways, the world of modeling is like Fight Club, and in particular, one of the first rules is that you don't talk about it (i.e. the bad stuff).
Noted novelist and high fashion model Kendall Jenner (oops I mean just "Kendall" now) did not have a very good time at New York's Fashion Week, you guys. According to an "insider" (who is most definitely not some bored intern or P.A.) apparently some very 'cruel' models were extra super mean to poor, downtrodden and outcast Kendall, the Ma Joad of fashion modelling. She also reportedly "banned" her sister Kim Kardashian from attending her shows, so she can be treated seriously. That's not true however. The real reason she banned Kim from her shows is because one time she ate the last pastrami mini bread sandwich on a deli platter backstage. That's just not cool, OK? Pastrami is for the talent, Kim. Take turkey next time.
