The guiness book has been a record of the most extraordinary facts and happenings all across the world. Chile earns the privilege of having world’s largest swimming pool. This is situated in the resort of San Alfonso del Mar in Algarroba. The dimensions of this world’s largest swimming pool are 1013 meters in length. The capacity of the pool is to hold around 66 million gallons of water altogether. Covering around 20 acres of land, the pool has become a tourists spot after getting itself registered in the guiness book of records in the year December 2006.
